West Palm Beach, FL – We are excited to announce that Martina Walker, a dedicated community leader and long-time resident of West Palm Beach, is officially running for West Palm Beach City Commissioner.

Martina Walker has been a gracious resident and servant of the West Palm Beach community for over seventy years and is a retired government employee in the Human Resources profession, bringing a wealth of experience, knowledge, and a genuine passion for public service.

As a retired human resources professional from the city of West Palm Beach, Florida. Martina Walker has tirelessly worked to improve:

• The Lives of the Homeless - each year, providing essential products and services to over 15,000 homeless individuals each year and working towards long-term solutions to reduce homelessness.

• Provide Financial Resources - Volunteering yearly to provide financial resources and support centers to help residents achieve financial stability and independence.

• Donate Holiday Gifts for children - Donating holiday gifts for over 25,000  children through the annual wish list program, ensuring that every child in our community experiences the joy of the holiday season.

• Annual Thanksgiving Meal in Various Community Parks - Hosting an annual Thanksgiving meal in various community parks, bringing residents together to celebrate and foster a sense of community.

• After-School Sportsmanship and Academic Involvement – Continuously involved in recruiting a team of highly qualified and experienced coaches who are committed to nurturing the athletic and personal growth of our community players. In addition, encouraging the importance of education and providing tutoring sessions to over 200 players per football season per year.
